JUNEAU story circles

Artists Lillian Petershoare and Ryan Conarro partnered with community organizations to host story-sharing events throughout the community. Juneau residents were invited to gather and share their memories and lived experiences from Juneau’s past and present. Story circles were hosted by Northern Light United Church, the Douglas Public Library, Juneau Public Library Downtown, the Elder’s Lunch at Central Council Tlingit & Indian Tribes of Alaska, Wildflower Court, the Juneau Art & Culture Center, and the Juneau Pioneer Home.
