My name is Loretta; nickname Betty. Maiden name, Ortelano; present last name, Marvin. Loretta Ortelano; Betty Marvin. I was born and raised in Alaska, between Juneau, Alaska and Petersburg, Alaska. The first time I ever remember coming to Juneau, I remember being on a steamer. And my mother lost me; she looked all over the steamer trying to find me. She eventually found me: I was in the dining room where they were eating, and they had a piano. And lo and behold, I was on top of the piano, dancing and singing!

“Our kids are starting to see what a beautiful life they have here in Alaska… I want our children to learn their heritage, to be able to be proud.”

Oh, Johnny!
