Allan Peters was born in Juneau in 1959.  He grew up in the Old Indian Village and on 6th Street downtown.  He is a direct descendant of Chief Kowee, and also a descendant of Chief Anatlahash of the T'aaku Kwaan. Allan's band Chrome Forest performed in Juneau and around Southeast for many years.
